We foster a sense of social responsibility within our firm and the organizations we support. We believe that reaching our goals means a commitment to our community, volunteering our services and investing in programs that promote positive change.

Our firm has provided pro bono PR counsel for a number of nonprofit organizations including Artspace USA, Children’s Home Society and Family Services, Minnesota Film and TV, Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) and the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts (Shubert Center).

With a focus on the environment, we are currently pro bono PR counsel for Nice Ride MN, the nonprofit public bike share program of Minneapolis and St. Paul. With zero marketing dollars, Nice Ride has been dependant on PR to educate consumers, as well as to secure sponsors and media awareness of the program. Conceived in 2009 and launched in June 2010, the program exceeded expectations and, due to resounding public acceptance and launch success, received an additional millions of dollars from corporate sponsors and doubled in size by September 2011. Currently Nice Ride MN is a model for national bike share programs. 

By securing thousands of feature stories in global media outlets, we raised visibility and educated people on the health and transportation benefits of public bike share programs and positioned Nice Ride as a model for other national bike share programs. Additionally, we submitted and pitched Minneapolis, St. Paul and the state of Minnesota for various “best of” stories. Since our launch with Nice Ride, Men’s Journal named Minneapolis/St. Paul one of the five best cities to live in, Travel + Leisure featured Minneapolis as a “bike-friendly metropolis,” National Geographic named Minneapolis in its “10 Best Summer Trips of 2011” feature, highlighting the Nice Ride program, CNN featured the program in a story on Minneapolis and Bicycling Magazine named Minneapolis the “#1 Bike City” in the U.S.
