Last week we secured multiple broadcast segments for a variety of clients – Mississippi River Fund’s Bike with a Ranger program, Prairie Organic Vodka’s upcoming Prairie Made dinner at Heartland Restaurant, Nice Ride Minnesota‘s potential expansion and the recent $10M Snowbate incentive funding. Twin Cities broadcast is buzzing with Roepke clients!
Minnesota Monthly is encouraging their readers to get outside during National Park Week and explore their local national park. The Mississippi River Fund has some great opportunities for local Minnesotans to enjoy the National Park on the Mississippi River including biking with a national park ranger and volunteer opportunities.
In a recent post, Explore Minnesota reveals the “rebirth” of the Minnesota historic landmark, Coldwater Spring (via Joel Schettler, Minnesota Monthly). Along with REI and the National Park Service, the Mississippi River Fund is currently restoring the 10,000 year old, 29 acre site, keeping the historic Coldwater springhouse and reservoir. The site re-opened on September 1 “as part of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, an urban national park.” Join us at Coldwater Spring on National Public Lands Day, Saturday, September 29. Let the restoration continue! For additional information, please visit http://www.missriverfund.org/.
